Room Set
This is a commerce conference where the exhibition and the programme occupy one room in the only form that counts. The intent survives the construction, which is where most of it is usually lost.
Here, the stands are arranged as a perimeter and the talks happen in the middle, so a break never means leaving the exhibitors behind. The tolerance in that junction is tighter than the rest of the building, and it is the one place the extra work was worth it.
