The Second Branch
The counter is shortened and turned, which is what the plan needed, and the seating that replaces it makes the waiting area the larger room. It is a small move on the drawings and a large one in use, which is the trade the whole project is built on.
“We set out to make a second branch fit-out, taking the first one's language onto a narrower floor, and we resisted every chance to make it more than that.”
